IP Network security cameras are ideal for a variety of surveillance applications, and this high quality, high-resolution 3S 5.0 megapixel varifocal IP network dome security camera is a top performer. The camera features a 3-10 mm varifocal lens and stunning 5.0 megapixel resolution to deliver exceptional image quality with crisp, clean, highly detailed video. This camera can be wall, ceiling or surface mounted, and the camera enclosure is vandal-proof and IP68 weather rated, which makes it an ideal choice for your outdoor surveillance applications.
The camera is equipped with H.264 and MJPEG dual codec streaming capabilities, digital I/O that allows you to connect to an external sensor and alarm, and built-in IR illuminator that allows the camera to see up to 50 feet in the dark — to deliver peace of mind security for your home or business. This dome camera also has enhanced imaging features like smart 3-D digital noise reduction and digital wide dynamic range, as well as convenient PoE to connect to your network and allow for easy installation.
This camera produces 5.0 megapixel image quality with video resolution of 2560 x 1920 @ 15 fps and 1080p @ 30 fps for sharp, detailed video. Since this IP camera produces such high resolution, it can save you money with the ability to have greater coverage with fewer cameras (compared to analog CCTV).
This camera is an ideal choice as part of an overall IP network video surveillance solution that would also include a network IP NVR or hybrid NVR.
This network IP security camera comes with a 3 year warranty and free lifetime US-based technical support.
Network IP cameras are ideal for a variety of security applications including:
Smart IR – Capture clear, sharp images in low light. The camera’s Smart IR (smart infrared) feature automatically adjusts the infrared light required in a scene as the subject moves closer to or further away from the camera, resulting in optimal brightness and a sharp, clear image that’s neither washed out or too dark.
3-D Digital Noise Reduction (3-D DNR) – Get exceptional image quality and video with less noise. 3-D DNR incorporates frame-to-frame noise reduction with spatial noise reduction to produce clear video images with less noise, in low light conditions. Noise reduction is critical for video because noise affects image quality. Cameras with 3-D DNR produce sharper, more accurate video images.
Digital Wide Dynamic Range (D-WDR) – Gain a clear view in extreme lighting conditions. This feature enables the camera to produce clearer images in less than ideal lighting conditions. D-WDR balances the contrast of light and shadow to improve visibility in dark areas within a scene.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) – Receive power and data through a single cable and lower installation costs. PoE allows IP (internet protocol) devices to receive power and data over existing LAN (local area network) cabling; eliminating the need to install a separate power cable, simplifying installation and lowering cabling costs.
True Day/Night – Capture a sharp image in low light conditions. True day/night (mechanical day/night) improves low light sensitivity and delivers a crisp image in low light conditions by enabling the camera to see in the dark without an external IR illuminator.
How it works: The camera automatically removes the infrared filter from in front of the imager which enables the camera to see near infrared light. It allows more light into the imager to deliver a clearer picture and minimizes distortion in black and white mode.
Motion Detection – Maximize recording. The camera automatically detects motion within the field of view and can be integrated with external devices such as security lights, alarm, access control, DVR or other device that can be triggered to react when motion is detected.
Privacy Zone Masking – Keep desired areas private. Set privacy zones for select areas within the field of view, that need to be kept private while viewing and recording video.
Tampering detection – Receive an alert when your camera view changes. Tampering detection is a notification feature that sends an alert if the viewing angle of the cameras changes, or if the viewing area has been blocked.
Event Notification – Automatic notification of an event. The event notification feature will notify via relay out, email or FTP when a triggered event has occurred.
ONVIF Compliance – Greater compatibility, more devices. This product conforms to ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) specifications for IP-based security products. ONVIF defines a common protocol for the exchange of information between different network video devices from different manufacturers, to allow greater interoperability in multi-vendor network video systems.
