    Ease of Installation

Wireless transmissions perform the same job as wired transmissions; both convey information from point A to point B. The difference with wireless is that there is nothing to see, nor cable to pull — it’s invisible! This, of course, makes the installation of a video security system fast while maintaining a professional appearance.

    Temporary Needs

Wireless video security systems are an excellent choice when individuals or businesses need to temporarily monitor a room or specific valuables. It allows people to secure their valuables without making any permanent modifications to their home or business. This makes a wireless system the best choice for CCTV surveillance of rental properties or apartments.

    Covert Applications

Whether the application is indoor or outdoors, wireless video is almost always preferred over using cabling for covert use. Wireless video minimizes the chance of detection during installation and monitoring, and reduces the chances that the suspect(s) will discover the gear. In many cases, wireless video is the only option for covert needs.

Needed a remote camera for a studio that did not have wi-fi link. You guys hooked me up on a great wireless system. The distance is about 300'. The picture is nearly as good as wired cameras. There is a occasional drop off, but within just a few seconds it links back up. Great product and fit my needs well. I'll return for more goodies.

Like all except: The BNC connector on the transmitter unit should have a male BNC connector rather than a female. If a female connector is needed, a simple barrel connector can be inserted. When I use this device, it is normally located adjacent to the video camera I'm using, which always has a female BNC connector.

This link gives the same quality picture transmitted over 700 feet as the higher priced link it replaced. It does however momentarily drop connection from time to time. Perhaps this is due to interference at that frequency?

Poor Product, Poor Support

Review by Nick on 6/10/14

I have had similar wireless transmitting cameras that worked fine for my 250' application. The problem with the previous model was a Lorax wireless camera. It had a tiny transmitter and receiver that worked great. It was the camera that wasn't too hot. I spent the $ and got this transmitter/receiver combo and a camera. They are horrible compared to my previous cheapo system. The signal drops multiple times/hour and it takes 5-10 seconds to get it back. I never had this problem with cheapo stuff before. To make matters worse, I called tech support and they couldn't do anything to help me. First they sent me a new system thinking mine was defective. The new system was worse - the loss of signal happened just as much, but it takes it longer than the first one to come back on line. I just tried calling again and they told me to get a better antenna, which is more $ from them.

This system by far exceeded my expectations. Very simple to deploy and the range was by far much greater than i ever expected. Wall penetration and signal quality is much better than advertised. I purchased a second unit and got the same results. Had to use a little different antenna but the range quality is still much better than i expected out of the box as wit was the first time. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

I purchase one unit and installed it approx. 170 feet apart and unit worked fine. I purchased 2nd unit and there seems to be problem with frequency between the two units. They work fine for awhile and then one Unit looses connections with other unit. I need two cameras and they have to be wireless. Sent message to Technical support.
