This compact PTZ day/night vandalproof camera is packed full of features. At half the size and half the cost of other speed dome cameras, this PTZ security camera is the perfect solution for any demanding application. The vandalproof dome security camera features a 10x optical and 20x digital high speed zoom with a fast auto focus as well as RS485/RS422 interface and dip-switch free set up. The 1/4" Sony EX-View CCD delivers 530 lines color resolution and is sensitive to low light conditions. Other features include a pan rotation range of 360 degree continuous rotation, 0-90 degree tilt view range with auto-flip, 128 programmable presets, 1 cruising and 4 pattern tours, and low power consumption.

Features and Capabilities

Day/night security camera example Digital Day/Night – Digital day/night (also referred to as electronic day/night) improves low light sensitivity, delivers a sharper image in low light conditions, and enables the camera to see in the dark without the help of external IR illuminators.

Unlike true day/night cameras, which use a mechanical filter, the camera electronically adjusts colors during the day instead of using an infrared filter. This allows the digital day/night cameras to deliver similar benefits of true day/night cameras, but at a lower cost. Without the need for a physical filter, digital day/night technology can be leveraged for smaller form factors, such as bullet cameras.
