The ACM-4201, with 1/3" Aptina Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor and built-in 4.2 mm fixed lens, delivers clear images at a resolution up to 1280 x 1024 at 8 fps. It supports selectable MPEG-4 SP and MJPEG compressions with multiple streaming.
A minimum illumination of 0.5 lux at f/1 makes the camera suitable for low light conditions. Coupled with PIR (Passive InfraRed) sensor, the camera is able to sense motion in dark environments.
Video motion detection triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display and also supports e-mail notification with snapshots for alarm triggered events. Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors.
The ACM-4201 features automatic gain control and adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Privacy masking allows you to mask a configurable region to ensure certain privacy of people under surveillance.
Power is supplied to the camera through Class 3 PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) so that the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. It features a 2-way audio and accepts digital input and output.
