This IR camera is built around a high resolution Sony chipset. Our PC332IR offers a 480 lines of stunning color resolution. This camera has a 0.01 lux low rating while the IR is off and 0 lux while the IR is on. The powerful IR array on this camera allows for seeing in complete darkness up to 240 feet, making capturing video at night a breeze. It also has a rugged IP66 weatherproof rating which survives almost any weather condition. The tamper-proof mounting bracket hides the video power cable to prevent cutting of the cable, ensuring you get your evidence every time! Includes easy connecting instructions mounting bracket and a one year warranty.

Features and Capabilities

IR security camera example Infrared (IR) – Infrared (IR) cameras feature built-in illuminators that project infrared light, which is nearly invisible to the human eye but very visible to IR surveillance cameras. This technology allows you to capture crystal clear, black and white video of suspects who feel protected by complete darkness.

IR cameras are very effective in covering targeted areas with little or no light, ranging from exterior parking areas and entryways, to interior rooms requiring 24 hour surveillance. For coverage of wider areas, consider adding an additional external infrared illuminator.
