This infrared illuminator operates at 940 nm, a wavelengh of light that is invisible to the human eye. The illuminator is solidly constructed in a rugged aluminum weatherproof housing, and has photocell activation and a 20,000 hour LED MTBF (mean time between failures).

The illuminator features a low 500 mA current draw, operates on 12 V DC and comes with pre-terminated power connections.

Note: 940 nm infrared illuminators are designed to work with ‘true’ day/night cameras (which use a mechanical IR cut filter). They are not recommended for use with digital day/night cameras.
